Rules for items placed in the shelved books:
-------------------------------------------------------
All items should not damage the books in any way - make sure they are not too thick and are not going to stick to or otherwise damage the pages.

Items may only be placed in the Adult Stacks.

Items must be registered with the show and be labeled with the show's official label. You may request a label or label the back of your work yourself with the following required text:
This item is part of the "BY THE BOOK" show. You may keep it. Info at www.nathania.com/bythebook.html

Individuals should confirm that their plants have been removed from the books on or after October 31st - this may require waiting for book to be returned.

Pertinent Library Art Display Policies
---------------------------------------
The library shall not be liable or responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items or materials. (note: they don't do security strips on the artwork, I already asked!) Note - the 3D/non-hanging work will be in the city hall locked display case.

Artists will be required to sign a liability waiver. The library is not responsible for the return of items or for items left on the premises.

Artists may have their work for sale. The library takes no commission, and does not act as a vendor. Any items listed at $500 or more should have a qualified appraisal that is forwarded to the library before work is accepted for exhibition.

The artwork will be on display for the entire month.

By signing up you are agreeing to these policies.
